Getting to Know your Optometrist

Dr. Amy Ruzicka is a dedicated optometrist who believes that clear vision is one of the most powerful foundations for a bright future. With advanced training in pediatric eye care, binocular vision, and ocular disease, she is passionate about identifying vision problems early and helping patients of all ages see, learn, and live to their fullest potential.

Dr. Ruzicka is especially committed to children’s vision, ocular disease, and preventive eye care. Many vision conditions that affect learning, reading, and development begin quietly in childhood, and early detection can change the course of a child’s life. Through careful evaluation, myopia management, and compassionate education, she partners with families to protect young eyes and support healthy visual development.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Ruzicka is deeply invested in her community. She leads and participates in vision outreach programs that bring care to those who might otherwise go without, and she regularly provides education to parents, teachers, and local organizations about the importance of eye health. Her approach blends modern clinical technology with genuine, personal care — because every patient deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.

At Bright Futures Vision Clinic, Dr. Ruzicka’s mission is simple: to provide thoughtful, evidence-based eye care that helps every patient build a clearer, healthier, and brighter future.
